Our children are aged 8 and 10, but we still have younger nieces and nephews who visit. When our kids outgrew their baby and toddler toys, I gave a lot away, but wondered what to do with the favourites. I decided to store them in a single crate in the garage which is easy to pull out when we have younger visitors. The same approach could be used to store toys for older kids. I've always appreciated dropping in to see family and friends (even those without children) who've thoughtfully pulled out a box of toys or games for the kids.
